US nuclear reactor status
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission publishes the power level of every US commercial reactor each business day. This page shows the most recent report for all 95 units in that feed, 102.5 GW of operating capacity, with units below full power listed first.
Also: outage history · outages outside the US · earthquakes near plants
By reactor type
The same report split by coolant and moderator family. The US fleet is entirely light water, so this is pressurised against boiling water; the seven families operating worldwide are at reactor types.
Fleet availability, past year
Capacity-weighted share of the operating fleet online each day. The twin troughs are the spring and autumn refuelling seasons, when utilities take units down deliberately.
Every unit
Units below full power appear first. The NRC feed carries no reason for a reduction, it is three columns: date, unit, power percentage. A unit at 0% may be refuelling, in a planned outage, or tripped, and this page will not guess which.
